Travel Agencies

Agencies and inbound operators arranging trips and tours for their clients.

The context

An agency carries responsibility for people it does not travel with. The arrangement therefore follows the itinerary rather than a place: arrival points, transfers, accommodation, and the moments when the group is most visible. During scoping we want to know who is travelling, on what programme, how much room you have to change it, and who decides on the ground when something has to be settled quickly.

What we look at during scoping

  • The programme and its fixed points
  • The number of travellers and their exposure
  • Transfers and who operates them
  • The person authorised to decide on the ground
