Risk Assessment & Security Consulting

Advance analysis of the risks around a trip, site or event, with practical recommendations.

What this covers

The scope, stated without ambiguity.

  1. Context analysis

What actually creates exposure: diary, known addresses, public visibility, history of incidents.

  2. Site visit and reconnaissance

What a plan does not show: blind spots, service access, lighting, real journey times.

  3. Written, prioritised recommendations

What to address first, what can wait, and what is not a private security matter at all.

  4. Followed through the assignment

A debrief in person, and the option to revisit the document when the situation changes.

What we do not do

We do not sell an assessment that always concludes you should buy an arrangement from us. If the right answer is a locksmith, better lighting or nothing at all, that is what it will say.

A specific requirement to cover?

Describe the context and a coordinator will come back to you with a suitable arrangement.

How it works

Four stages, from the first call to the end of the assignment.

  1. A call back, not another form

A coordinator calls you to understand the need. At this stage we need no names, no addresses and no exact schedules.

    What you receive

    • Territory and approximate period
    • Nature of the request
    • One reachable contact
  2. A shared picture of the ground

A detailed conversation with you, then reconnaissance on site. We check what is actually there, not what a plan says.

    What you receive

    • Site visit report
    • Identified points of vulnerability
    • Confirmed context and history
  3. A document, not a promise

The written arrangement sets out who does what, where and when. You can read it, challenge it and have it approved internally.

    What you receive

    • Prioritised recommendations
    • What is not a private security matter
    • Scope, timescale and a clear price
  4. One point of contact, start to finish

Everyone is briefed before deployment, then the same coordinator follows the assignment through.

    What you receive

    • Briefing before deployment
    • Coordinator reachable throughout
    • End-of-assignment report

Typical situations

Three contexts where this service applies.

  • Before travelling

An unfamiliar country, city or site: understanding what is actually at stake before committing to an arrangement.

  • After an incident

A break-in, a threat, a theft: understanding what made it possible rather than reacting under pressure.

  • An investment decision

Fixed post, patrols, an alarm? The analysis comes before the purchase.

Illustrative scenarios — not client references, and no outcomes claimed.

Regulatory framework

UPP designs, sizes and coordinates every security arrangement — from initial scoping to assignment follow-up. Regulated work is carried out by providers authorised in each territory.

Where we operate

This service is coordinated across the following territories. The city pages describe what each place demands of the arrangement.

Frequently asked

Four questions that come up.

Does an assessment always lead to a service?

No, and that is the point. Some recommendations are technical, some organisational, and some are to change nothing.

How long does it take?

It depends on the number of sites and the depth requested. The timescale is stated at scoping, before any commitment.

What does the document contain?

The context, what was observed, points of vulnerability, and prioritised recommendations — not a catalogue of services.

Can it be done remotely?

Partly. But most of the value comes from the visit: a plan shows neither a blind spot nor a service door left open.
