Shoots, crews and equipment on location.

The context

A shoot puts crews, valuable equipment and sometimes exposed figures into locations that were never designed for it, often overnight and for a matter of days. The constraint is twofold: protecting equipment between takes, and protecting the confidentiality of what is being filmed. During scoping we look at duration, the sequence of locations, and how confidential the material is.

What we look at during scoping

  • Duration and the sequence of locations
  • The value of equipment left on site
  • Overnight hours
  • Confidentiality of the material being filmed
